SHEAR:T CONNECTIONS
More Bolts. Fewer Welds.
Connections prove to be the weak link in structures. Not only from a safety perspective but installation as well. They are the critical path to building safely and efficiently. DIVERSAKORE places a lot of focus on them and has developed a number of options to accommodate the varying scenarios we see that result from different building types and uses.

Primarily used for single lift columns they are fast and effective. Typically they are only designed for construction loading requirements and not used for final design. There is no need for welding. Just insert a couple of 3/4" A325 bolts and you are on to the next piece. Don't worry, our final connection takes place inside the beam which is safer and eliminates the need for any additional fireproofing materials.

Primarily used for exposed conditions, this is our most advanced connection yet. It is comprised of 3 parts: 1) Structural T for bearing and shear connection, 2) Cantilevered Shear tab with reenforcing slots for additional shear capacity, 3) 3/4" A325 erection bolts.
